Latenergi: Energy efficient and low-carbon solutions for a secure, sustainable and climate variability reducing energy supply

In this National Research Program proposed directions of scientific research foreseen complex and integrated approach in research of Latvian energy sector and its restrictive environmental factors of interactions. Timely and qualitative development of scientific research will give opportunity to offer practical and thoughtful solutions for development of Latvian energy sector, moving towards the achievement of the priority aim 20/20/20/ set by the European Union. Interdisciplinary approach is intended in National Research Program both in the context of defined research directions and realization of program – both leading scientific institutions in Latvia in the fields of energy and environmental protection, partners of national economy (companies, professional associations) and decision-makers are involved.
