The laboratory researches the quality of building materials, indoor quality and the potential of improving their energy efficiency. Within the framework of several projects, the identification of building materials of Latvian historic buildings and determination of their hygrothermal properties are made in order to facilitate forecasts on the influence of internal insulation on the exterior wall.
